Brian Wilson has been revealed as a headliner for the Together The People Festival, which is returning for a second year in September to Preston Park in Brighton.
The Horrors, Songhoy Blues, Skinny Living and Gaz Coombes are some of the other names on the bill, but it’s Brian Wilson who’ll be getting the most attention with his former Beach Boys bandmate Al Jardine for a UK festival exclusive performance of ‘Pet Sounds’.
This is another part of the celebrations surrounding the classic album’s 50th anniversary which include yet another re-release, this time as a 4CD/Blu-ray collector’s edition complete with a hardbound book, remastered stereo and mono mixes, session outtakes, alternate mixes and live recordings.
Wilson is taking the album out on a UK tour from next month including three nights at the London Palladium between May 20th-22nd.
His rollercoaster life is also set to be told on the I Am Brian Wilson: A Memoir autobiography from this October.
