‘You should do a book’, Paul Weller said during a photo-shoot for Mojo Magazine last year with Tom Sheehan. Sheehan took him up on it.

On May 30th, Sheehan will release the book Paul Weller In Photographs 1978–2015, documenting his working relationship with the former Jam frontman which has stretched across nearly four decades.

“I’ve always admired Paul because he’s not a lazy guy is he?,” says Tom. “If I ever feel lazy I think of people like him who never stop and pull myself together.”

“He never lets the grass grow under his feet and I find that very endearing and exciting in someone who’s been doing it such a long time.”

Weller has written the foreword for the book, which is due out as a deluxe 240-page version in a hardcover slip case, and super deluxe which comes in a pearlescent hard slip-case along with three unique photos.

”I love working with Tommy,” Weller adds. “I can’t believe just how many sessions we have done together. Enjoy the work of a great photographer and man.”

A launch event has been arranged at the Flood Gallery on Thursday, May 26th.
