The Cribs, The Kills and Ocean Colour Scene are new on the Isle Of Wight festival bill for 2016.

The event takes place at Seaclose Park between June 9th-12th, and has Queen, Stereophonics and Faithless lined up as headliners.

“I love playing the Isle Of Wight Festival,” Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones has said. “I got to steer the boat over last time. Captain of the ship and honked the horn! Only the captain gets to honk the horn. This will be our third time at the festival…I’ll leave my white suit at home this time though!”

Festival organisers are also planning to mark 40 years since the explosion of punk, and have invited The Damned, Buzzcocks, Adam Ant, The Godfathers and The Sex Pissed Dolls along for the party.

Iggy Pop will be remembering 1976 and all that too, though he’ll also be keen to showcase his new album ‘Post Pop Depression‘ – recorded with Josh Homme – to the masses.
