The Cure are giving plenty of notice for a tour of the UK and Europe which will begin on October 7th in Helsinki, Finland.
They don’t reach the UK for nearly a year, but plans have already been confirmed for gigs in Manchester and London, when a statement says the band will ‘explore’ the nearly four decades of their music.
“The Cure Tour 2016 will present Robert Smith (voice/guitar), Simon Gallup (bass), Jason Cooper (drums), Roger O’Donnell (keys) and Reeves Gabrels (guitar) as they explore 37 years of Cure songs, mixing hits, rarities, favourites and as yet unreleased tracks in a brand new stage production that promises to be one of the ‘must see’ shows of the year,” it states.
