Noel Gallagher will head out on another UK arena tour in April 2016, carrying his recent Q Award winning second solo album ‘Chasing Yesterday‘.
Gallagher and his High Flying Birds open at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on April 21st 2016, and subsequently play Aberdeen, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham and Bournemouth. Support comes from Super Furry Animals. The shows add to a previously announced appearance at the Clyde 1 event in December.
A gig at the Royal Albert Hall in London, meanwhile, has just been confirmed too for December 10th, a day before ‘The Dying Of The Light‘ is released as the fifth single from ‘Chasing Yesterday’.
Noel Gallagher beat off competition from Florence & The Machine, Everything Everything, Blur and Jamie xx to win the Q Best Album prize yesterday (October 19th), ten years on from his last triumph there with Oasis courtesy of the band’s 2005 album ‘Don’t Believe The Truth‘.
