With the release of new album ‘Dodge & Burn‘ coming up on the 25th of this month, as well as a live appearance on one of the first episodes of the Late Show With Stephen Colbert, The Dead Weather have shared a performance video of ‘I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)‘ which can be seen below.
These are likely to be the only chances to glimpse the reassembled band in a live setting as Jack White, Alison Mosshart, guitarist Dean Fertita and bassist Jack Lawrence prepare to release their first album in five years thanks to, ‘rare and sporadic free moments over the past year recording together in Nashville’.
They’re likely to be rare opportunities given Jack White’s recent, indefinite retirement from live touring, and thanks to a press release which was quick to confirm there will be no time spent on the road by the band.
“With the members of the band heavily involved in other projects, The Dead Weather will not be touring in support of the new album,” it said.
