Fan footage of Marcus Mumford joining The Maccabees onstage for a performance of ‘Pelican‘ has been posted online – have a watch below.

The guest spot came during Mumford & Sons‘ latest Gentlemen Of The Road event in Scotland, scheduled to be the band’s last UK gig before they top Reading/Leeds at the end of this month.

Maccabees frontman Orlando Weeks also dedicated the final song of his band’s set, ‘Grew Up at Midnight’, to headliners Mumford & Sons, quoted as saying by NME: “They’re doing an amazing thing. Putting these events on is not an easy thing to do. It’s a very valiant thing to do and it’s amazing to be asked to come and play with them.”

Primal Scream were another band on the bill at Aviemore last weekend, when favourites such as ‘Jailbird’, ’Kill All Hippies’ and ‘Country Girl’ made appearances along with the more recent sprawling exploits of ‘2013‘.
