Alt-J set for UK tour with The Horrors in support

There’ll be a divergent display of British rock later this year when Alt-J and The Horrors tour together starting at the Manchester Cathedral on November 28th.

“After a year touring around the world we are excited to announce that we will be finishing 2015 back in the UK,” Alt-J have said.

The tour continues at the BIC in Bournemouth on the first day of December, and will then pay a visit to arenas in Exeter, Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow and Nottingham.

Both bands released new albums in 2014, but it’s Alt-J who’ve taken the spoils thanks to the overriding hypnotic grace of ‘This Is All Yours‘. “Like the stone in the stream, the edges have been worn away, and the sound is more rounded and smooth,” our review reads.

“This is a coherent piece of work. On ‘An Awesome Wave’, they displayed their individual sound and style, but ‘This Is All Yours’ displays just how far this sound can go.”
