Tame Impala have offered up a clip of ‘Nangs‘ during a short making-of video for their new album ‘Currents‘ which can be seen below.
Kevin Parker is about to succeed the quite brilliant 2012 effort ‘Lonerism‘, and told NME back in May that he is looking to ‘move on’ from his previous work despite what they’ve achieved.
“Listening to[our music was very much a kind of headphone, solitary experience,” he said. “Which is cool, but I’ve moved on from that. I’ve always loved listening to music on my own, but there’s another side of me that is just fascinated by Goa trance, for example – just a rave on a beach in India, you know? Where there’s someone that’s spinning the music and it’s just this free-flowing continuous energy.”
‘Currents’ is released on July 17th. Tame Impala play UK festival and headline dates later in September.
