Rarities, outtakes included on new Small Faces compilation ‘The Decca Years’

In just four short years the Small Faces left a lasting impression on British music, fashion and culture which still ripples to this day.

Much of the band’s most revered output was released on the Decca label during an even briefer period of time – between 1965-67 – and it’s this which will be celebrated later this year in the form of a new box-set containing rarities, outtakes and b-sides.

50 years on from the Small Faces’ debut release, ‘The Decca Years‘ is due on October 9th and will contain five CDs remastered under the supervision of sole surviving member Kenney Jones, while a 72-page booklet from the pen of music journalist Mark Paytress is to help tell the story of classic singles such as ‘All Or Nothing‘, ‘Sha La La La Lee‘ and ‘I’ve Got Mine‘.
