Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Deerhunter, Best Coast, Gang Of Four, Soak and plenty more will play Liverpool Music Week when the event returns in October.
“Following an incredible 10th Edition of the festival last year, we are thrilled to announce our first headliner for 2015 as Godspeed You! Black Emperor – an act we have been trying to get to the festival for years and now we can finally proudly announce will play their first ever Liverpool show at this years LMW,” says founding-director Mike Deane.
“Furnace was an exceptional space for our headline shows Mogwai, Caribou, Chrvrches and will be the perfect venue for Godspeed’s first visit to the city.”
50 events are planned across various Liverpool venues between October 22nd-31st centred around Camp & Furnace and The Kazimier, with over 250 live acts expected in total.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor plays the Camp & Furnace on October 27th.
