With his first solo album in more than two decades ready to go on September 18th, Keith Richards has released a video for its lead single ‘Trouble‘.

The ‘Crosseyed Heart‘ track was written by the Rolling Stones guitarist along with co-producer Steve Jordan, who also mans the drums, percussion and backup vocals.

“I had a ball making this new record and working with Steve Jordan and Waddy Wachtel again,” Richards has said. “There’s nothing like walking into a studio and having absolutely no idea what you’re going to come out with on the other end. If you’re looking for ‘Trouble’, you’ve come to the right place.”

The album features a country-tinged song entitled ‘Robbed Blind‘, the reggae inspired ‘Love Overdue‘ and a duet with Norah Jones on ‘Illusion‘.

Despite the solo work, Richards also has one eye on a new record with the Stones and said recently the band hope to begin work on a follow-up to 2005’s ‘A Bigger Bangat the end of 2015.
