David Bowie will include a previously unreleased track and a smattering of hard-to-find recordings on a new compilation entitled ‘Five Years 1969–1973‘, out on September 25th.

Named for the classic opening track from his equally classic 1972 album ‘The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars‘, the box-set is expected to spark a new series of career-spanning releases from Bowie, and will be crammed with no less than 12 CDs or 13 LPs.

Along side six remastered studio albums from the period and two live albums is an until-now-unreleased mono single edit version of ‘All The Madmen‘.
