Titus Andronicus detail new album ‘The Most Lamentable Tragedy’

Titus Andronicus have outlined the details of their typically ambitious, expansive new album ‘The Most Lamentable Tragedy’.

Even by their usual standards, the band’s latest studio effort sounds like an intriguing entity, described as a ‘five-part rock opera’ consisting of 29 songs in total. It will be out through XL Recordings and Merge on August 7th via download, CD and triple-LP formats.




The ‘work of fiction’ – as said by frontman Patrick Stickles – has been produced by both Kevin McMahon and Titus Andronicus’ own Adam Reich, and they’ll be guest appearances from Owen Pallett and Elio DeLuca.
