Muse have shared a lyric video for ‘Mercy‘ not too long before their new album ‘Drones‘ is released on June 8th.

Frontman Matt Bellamy has recently described the record, which was crafted with co-producer Robert John ‘Mutt’ Lange, as the best of their career so far; “I can say this – this album is our best album,” he told iHeart Radio. “I haven’t been able to say that for a while, but this album is our best album – so feel free to start on this one.”
‘Drones’ has already been previewed via live dates in the UK and the States, and will be a regular fixture on the summer festival circuit during the coming months.
“To me, ‘Drones’ are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behaviour with no recourse,” Bellamy has previously said. “The world is run by Drones utilizing Drones to turn us all into Drones. This album explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors.”
