With their new album ‘The Magic Whip‘ leading both the UK Album Chart and Record Store Chart, Blur‘s promotional single ‘Y’All Doomed‘ has matched the success on the UK’s new Vinyl Singles Chart.

The single was released on 7″ last week, offering a discount on Blur’s comeback album, and has promptly topped the Vinyl charts immediately ahead of The Japanese House, Johnny Marr and Noel Gallagher.

The Vinyl Singles Chart is based on sales of 7″ and 12″ inch singles and was launched last month in recognition of Britain’s renewed interest in the traditional format.
