Blur will play three UK dates in June as a warm-up for their headline appearance at the Isle Of Wight festival later that month.
The band have lined-up shows at Glasgow Barrowlands on June 9th, the Blackpool Empress Ballroom (10th) and the Cymru Arena in Llandudno on the 11th ahead of their headline spot at Isle Of Wight along side Fleetwood Mac, The Prodigy and The Black Keys over the weekend of June 12th-14th.
Meanwhile, after their comeback album went to number one in the UK on Sunday (May 3rd), the band have released a half-hour ‘Making Of’ documentary which takes things back to the earliest ‘The Magic Whip‘ sessions in Hong Kong.
Its features interviews and studio footage as Blur set about crafting their first LP since 2003 and their first as a four-piece since 1999 following their initial live return at Glastonbury back in 2009.
