The Charlatans have documented their tour of Japan on a new video for ‘The Good Times Are Never Ending‘.

The single is taken from the band’s widely lauded 2015 album ‘Modern Nature‘, which hit the top of the UK’s Record Store Chart when it was released back in January, pipping an equally excellent LP from Gaz Coombes.

It’s their first studio release since the untimely death of drummer Jon Brookes in 2013. “Jon was adamant that there was going to be another Charlatans record, and you have to put that into your own thoughts,” keyboardist Tony Rogers said.

The Charlatans have festival appearances coming up throughout the summer, and will head up Manchester’s Summer In The City event at the Castlefield Bowl on July 4th. They’ll be supported by Super Furry Animals while other main acts Paolo Nutini, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are also set for performances across a week of gigs.
