The Sunday Times has released its latest musicians rich list, with Sir Paul McCartney leading the way as ever.

The former Beatle has a tidy £730m in his pension fund, almost £100m more than the man in second place, Andrew Lloyd-Webber. Veterans U2 (£431m), Sir Elton John (£270m) and Sir Mick Jagger (£225m) complete the Top 5.

Elsewhere, despite the break-up of Oasis nearly six years ago brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher are listed together with a combined wealth of £77m, while the Coldplay quartet complete the Top 40.
