Michael Eavis will reveal the identity of Glastonbury’s third and final headliner on June 1st, reports eFestivals.

The festival’s founder gave the date during a talk at the V&A museum in London on April 21st after the majority of its line-up was unveiled last week minus the Pyramid Stage’s final main act.

Foo Fighters and Kanye West have both been confirmed to make their respective headline debuts in June, but just exactly who will join them has been the subject of much conflicting speculation in the press since 130,000 tickets sold out in record time last October.

The likes of Muse, Fleetwood Mac, Coldplay and AC/DC have all been mentioned in dispatches, while betting was suspended by bookmakers William Hill recently on the Stone Roses finally fulfilling headline duties at Worthy Farm 20 years on from their enforced, last minute cancellation in 1995.
