Foo Fighters and Muse will lead the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend next month.

This year, the event is to be held at Norwich’s Earlham Park between on May 23rd and 24th. Muse headline on Saturday night, ahead of acts such as The Vaccines, Florence & The Machine and Charli XCX, while Foo Fighters top the Main Stage a day after following performances from Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, George Ezra and others.

“I’m very excited to play,” Muse frontman Matt Bellamy remarks. “The last time we played Big Weekend, for us it was a disaster, so I can’t wait to make up for it on this performance. I’m pretty sure that we may unveil another new song that we will play for the first time which is pretty exciting.”

“I’m really excited, I can’t wait to come out,” Dave Grohl adds. “I don’t really think we’ve ever played there before so I’m looking forward to it.”
