Everything Everything will tour the UK in November after the release of their new album ‘Get To Heaven‘.

The tour opens in Cardiff on November 7th and closes at the Manchester Apollo on the 21st after visits to numerous cities including Portsmouth, Nottingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, Bristol and London.

‘Get To Heaven’ is released on June 15th and, according to frontman Jonathan Higgs, will buck the current trend by addressing some serious issues head on.

“I wanted to make something that makes you get angry and want to do something about it, because that’s how I was feeling,” he recently told NME.

“Don’t quiz me on the politics of Syria or Ukraine, I don’t fucking know, but I do know it makes me feel wretched and confused and anxious without having to know who’s right and who’s wrong. It’s trying to inhabit these people who do this stuff – like how would I feel if I was Muslim, or a rejected Hollywood teen like that Rodger kid.”

“With this record, I just feel like time is running out for the band. There’s a certain amount of time people will bother listening to us at all, and it felt like, ‘You can’t just hang around forever not approaching things that feel uncomfortable.'”
