Blur heading for number one on UK Album Chart

Blur are comfortably heading for the top spot on the UK Album Chart this Sunday (May 3rd).

The band’s comeback album ‘The Magic Whip‘ is leading a quiet week on the chart according to the latest update, with Josh Groban, Paul Simon, and mainstays Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith their nearest challengers.

Further back, the only other new entries are due from The Proclaimers and Jules Knight, while Noel Gallagher should have another week inside the Top 20 with ‘Chasing Yesterday‘.
