And So I Watch You From Afar have got the new single ‘Redesigned a Million Times‘ lined up ahead of its parent album ‘Heirs‘ release on May 4th.

“We started making the album while touring in 2013,” Rory Friers has said of the LP. “We would be recording demos in our hotel rooms, backstage and we would even hire out rehearsal rooms during days off.”

‘Heirs’ is the band’s first with guitarist Niall Kennedy, who moved to a permanent role after initially becoming a touring member in 2012. Around 30 new songs were later whittled down to 15, from which a final 10 made the ultimate cut.

“It’s called ‘Heirs’ as a tribute to a lot of new people who came into all our lives during the writing and recording of the album – lots of nephews and Johnny had a daughter, Eisa,” Friers added.

‘Heirs’ tracklist:

‘Run Home’
‘These Secret Kings I Know’
‘Wasps’
‘Redesigned a Million Times’
‘People Not Sleeping’
‘Fucking Lifer’
‘A Beacon, a Compass, an Anchor’
‘Animal Ghosts’
‘Heirs’
‘Tryer, You’
