Kasabian and Calvin Harris will headline the 2015 V Festival over the weekend of August 22nd-23rd.
The event is held concurrently at Weston and Hylands Park. Kasabian lead a bill which also comprises Sam Smith, Hozier, The Courteeners, Reverend & The Makers and others, while Stereophonics, Kodaline, George Ezra and Paloma Faith are among those on Calvin Harris’ line-up.
Kasabian are also headlining T In The Park along with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds after the release of ‘48:13‘ last year. The album was snubbed at the Brit Awards earlier this month, leading Serge Pizzorno to cry ‘conspiracy’.
“It’s a conspiracy,” he told The Independent. “They’re trying to shut rock n’ roll out. What sort of message does that send to working class rock n’ roll bands which the industry is in dire need of?”
“Kasabian couldn’t have done any more last year. It’s bullshit really. It’s way more exciting to be playing the Baftas than the Brits.”
