The Incredible Magpie Band will release their eponymous debut album on May 11th, and have now posted the new single ‘Straight Lines‘ (below).
“When we went into the studio we wanted to make an album that was pretty raw and rootsy, to try and keep it as close to the live sound as possible and concentrate on the songs and I think that’s what we’ve achieved,” singer-songwriter Lee Knowles has said. “We all just got in a room, mic’d everything up and played.”
The band have been out on the road supporting the likes of The Rifles and The Jesus & Mary Chain, and have now readied their 11-track debut which includes recent double A-side single ‘Money’.
