Muse aired two new tracks set to feature on their upcoming ‘Drones‘ album as a low-key UK tour kicked off in Belfast yesterday (March 15th).

The band bookended their set with fresh cuts ‘Psycho‘ and ‘Reapers‘ – check out fan footage of the latter below. The new songs were mixed with plenty of established hits as Muse made their live return which continues at the Glasgow Barrowlands tonight and will also visit Newport, Exeter, Manchester and Brighton.

‘Drones’ is due for release on June 8th and is to be preceded with the single ‘Dead Inside‘ next week. “To me, ‘Drones’ are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behaviour with no recourse,” frontman Matt Bellamy has said.

“The world is run by Drones utilizing Drones to turn us all into Drones. This album explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors.”

Setlist (NME):

‘Psycho’
‘Plug In Baby’
‘Fury’
‘Uno’
‘Hysteria’
‘Stockholm Syndrome’
‘Hyper Music’
‘Agitated’
‘Supermassive Black Hole’
‘Unnatural Selection’
