Kanye West will headline the Saturday night at the 2015 Glastonbury Festival.

Co-organiser Emily Eavis confirmed the news on Twitter, writing ‘we are thrilled to let you know we have the one and only Kanye West headlining Saturday night on the Pyramid stage’, as the US rapper joins the previously confirmed Foo Fighters at the tip of this year’s Pyramid Stage.

Only one place is now left to fill at Worthy Farm in June, though we do know it won’t be Coldplay after they were ruled out by Eavis earlier this month after being considered as one of the favourites at one time.

“It’s not Coldplay, this is the first year that most of the rumours are wrong,” she told eFestivals. “Normally, there’s someone in there who’s right, this has been our best year for secrets. Once we got Foos out the way, the rest are secret, it’s great that it’s like that, isn’t it?! Everyone has said it’s someone, but sorry about that, it’s not Coldplay.”
