Drenge have revealed another cut from their upcoming second album ‘Undertow‘ – have a listen to ‘Never Awake‘ below.
This track has a tough act to follow thanks to the irresistible lead single ‘We Can Do What We Want‘, but the meatier sound certainly still delivers at a less relentless pace than its predecessor.
Drenge were in the US last month ahead of ‘Undertow’s release on April 6th and sat down for in interview with Live4ever in New York.
“I feel that we came out with something that is completely different to what we were listening to, which isn’t to say it’s original but it felt really British in comparison to all that stuff, at least the first album anyway,” Rory Loveless told us of the influences on their debut album.”
“The second album is a bit more fleshed out. We listened to a bit of The Cure, stuff seeps through. We listen to all sorts of music so it is hard to tell where things are coming from.”
