Darlia will hit the road with their new mini-album ‘Petals‘ next month.

The band’s live commitments start with a stint on the road supporting The Wombats in Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, London, Oxford, Glasgow and Newcastle before they begin headline gigs at the Brudenell in Leeds on May 1st. Shows continue in Stockton, Edinburgh,, Manchester and London, and end on May 8th at the Birmingham Library.

Last year, Darlia released a series of EPs and singles. Of one of those – ‘Animal Kingdom‘ – Live4ever’s review read: “‘Animal Kingdom’, excites for a number of reasons; its eclectic style means it would gratify the casual radio flicker and their biggest fan equally.”

“Structurally, it’s almost set for sundown at festivals sponsored by fruity cider and in more detail, it signals that Darlia aren’t just one dimensional in their musicality and approach. Whilst they could more than comfortably stick to writing thrash, pumped up guitar songs and throw themselves all over their performances, here they haven’t.”
