Benjamin Booker has uploaded an eight-minute video which incorporates his ‘Slow Coming‘ and ‘Wicked Waters‘ tracks into a short film entitled The Future Is Slow Coming.

“We’ve all got iPhones and are talking about taking people to Mars, but look at how much we haven’t changed,” Booker says. “The ‘future,’ a time when all this violence and hatred is looked at as barbaric seemed so far away to me.”
The video is a result of a collaboration with director James Lees who adds: “Contemporary issues that the video references are repetitions of events we have watched happen many times before. We seem unable, as a society, to break this loop.”
Booker launches a series of North American tour dates at First Avenue in Minneapolis on March 26th. He’s got further headline and festival shows which take him into June and stop off at Bonnaroo.
