Savages, Perfume Genius and The Twilight Sad will be at the Plisskën Festival in Athens between June 5th-6th, adding to headliners The Horrors, Squarepusher and Mogwai.
Savages are confirmed as they press on with a second studio album, while The Twilight Sad will be showcasing their excellent 2014 LP ‘Nobody Wants To Be Here and Nobody Wants To Leave‘.
After the record was named Live4ever’s #1 essential release of 2014, the band’s frontman James Graham talked us through its creation.
“The record itself has similar themes to all our records – like love, loss, relationships, the way we treat other, depression, the want to be a better person and sometimes failing,” he said.
“Lyrically it has all those themes in the record, but it has been approached in a different way as I’m a different person now, as in that I’m two years older than the person who wrote our last album, all be it none the wiser.”
