Photos: Palma Violets, Slaves, Fat White Family lead 2015 NME Awards Tour

Chaos and carnage abounded throughout the evening as the 2015 NME Awards Tour arrived in Leeds on Friday (February 20th).

The opening night in Sheffield had already seen sets cut short and original opening act The Amazing Snakeheads replaced by The Wytches after their drummer Scott Duff quit on the eve of the tour.

And it was no less eventful in Leeds with headliners Palma Violets, Slaves and Fat White Family leading the way. Live4ever’s Gary Mather was in the firing line and you can relive all the highlights via our photo gallery at this link.

Palma Violets are playing new songs set to feature on their second studio album, while Slaves are also priming a new album for release later this year. The shows continue tomorrow night (February 24th) in Nottingham and will wrap up on March 4th at the London Forum.

We’ll be revisiting the tour when it hits Manchester later this week for a full live review, so stay tuned.
