Metronomy, The Horrors and Drenge will be on the British Summer Time bill headlined by Blur in June.

Jupiter & Okwess International, Roots Manuva, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Teleman, Iris Gold, Fufanu and Sugarmen also play London’s Hyde Park on June 20th, the scramble for tickets started today (February 27th) from 9am.

Blur return with ‘The Magic Whip‘ in April, their first album comprising the celebrated quartet of Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree since 1999.

After Coxon had left the band, the remaining trio did release the album ‘Think Tank‘ in 2003, but Albarn wasn’t looking back too fondly on that record during an interview with BBC Radio 1 last week.

“It’s got some real stinkers on it – there’s some bollocks on there,” he said. “There was an element of making amends with the guys but the fact is that I thought there was good music there and it’s a duty to deal with it,” Coxon added.
