Father John Misty will now play a second show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire in October.

The strong response to his recent solo album ‘I Love You, Honeybear‘ has persuaded Joshua Tillman to add a show on October 29th to the original date of October 28th – tickets go on sale from 9am today (February 27th).

The former Fleet Foxes man is out on tour in the UK as we speak and will play the Leeds Brudenell Social Club tonight before moving on to the Bristol Thekla on Saturday.

“‘I Love You, Honeybear’ sounds like a corny ode to Disney-inspired romance,” Live4ever’s review starts.

“Father John Misty’s voice is full of feeling as he sings over music that alternates between being idyllically soulful to operatically dramatic. And the album’s title certainly doesn’t help. Its allusion to sugar-coated fluff only adds pink to the apparent dream, when in fact its message is the opposite.”
