A host of acts have been added to this year’s Primavera Sound, and are led by The Strokes who’ll be making a rare appearance outside of the US when the event takes place in Barcelona, Spain at the end of May.
Other high profile additions to the bill include James Blake, Alt-J, Interpol, The Black Keys, Spiritualized and Patti Smith; Smith is playing her celebrated ‘Horses‘ album in full at the event.
Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas will also be taking his solo vehicle The Voidz to the festival, while Antony, American Football, Babes In Toyland, Caribou, Childhood, Death From Above 1979, Diiv, Earth, Eels, Foxygen, Fucked Up, The Julie Ruin, Jungle, Mac DeMarco, New Pornographers, Perfume Genius, The Replacements, Ride, Run The Jewels, Shellac, Sleaford Mods, Sleater-Kinney, Swans, The Thurston Moore Band, Tyler The Creator, Underworld and plenty more have also confirmed appearances on another pretty impressive line-up.
