James will be in the green and pleasant surroundings of Delamere Forest in Cheshire for a gig in July as part of the Forestry Commission’s annual Forest Live concerts.
“Delamere is our local gig on the Forest Live circuit so a James performance there is long overdue and we’re very happy to be part of this cause,” frontman Tim Booth has said.
The concert is held on Sunday, July 5th. Tickets are priced at £42.50 and go on sale from this coming Friday (January 30th). We last caught James live at the Leeds First Direct Arena late last year, a gig which proved to be one of Live4ever’s essentials of 2014 after our review opened:
“There is a moment this evening (November 23rd) – several, in fact – during which Tim Booth seems to be a man as at one with the world as anyone else in the Leeds Arena; a modern, purpose built entertainment aircraft hangar, but an aircraft hanger all the same.”
