The Glastonbury Festival has released the details of its Emerging Talent competition for 2015, which offers one winner a coveted spot on the event’s line-up.

“New music is such an important part of Glastonbury, and the Emerging Talent Competition is always an incredible way for us to find fresh talent from across the musical spectrum,” co-organiser Emily Eavis believes. “In fact, eight of the acts that entered in 2014 ended up with slots at Glastonbury 2014. I can’t wait to hear who we discover this year.”

Between January 19th-26th, acts can submit Soundcloud links to the competition’s homepage, to be in with a chance of winning £5,000 courtesy of the PRS For Music Foundation Talent Development as well as the place on Glastonbury’s line-up.

Eight finalists will then be asked to play a final gig at the Pilton Working Men’s Club in April before a winner is picked.
