East India Youth will follow last year’s superb Mercury nominated ‘Total Strife Forever‘ with ‘Culture of Volume‘ on April 6th.

After turning his back on traditional bands and diving head first into a solo electronic world, William Doyle released the ‘Total Strife Forever’ debut in January 2014, and has now announced his first release on XL Recordings.

The album was primarily recorded and produced in the bedroom of his London home and is named after part of a verse of the Richard Holland poem ‘Monumant’.

East India Youth is due up at the South By Southwest Festival in March after being included on the second round of acts for 2015 along side the likes of The Cribs, Holy Esque, Mallory Knox, Wolf Alice, Cancer Bats, Public Service Broadcasting, The Ting Tings and The Dunwells.

‘Culture Of Volume’ tracklist:

‘The Juddering’
‘End Result’
‘Beaming White’
‘Turn Away’
‘Hearts That Never’
‘Entirety’
‘Carousel’
‘Don’t Look Backwards’
‘Manner of Words’
