Alt-J played the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in London on Saturday evening (January 24th) as the successes of 2012’s ‘An Awesome Wave‘ and last year’s ‘This Is All Yours‘ cemented the band’s new found status as one of the UK’s biggest live draws.

The trio used the occasion to bring out ‘Leon‘ for a very rare outing. “This is an extremely big night for us, that being the case we thought we’d play you a song we haven’t played in about four years, it’s called ‘Leon’,” keyboard player Gus Unger-Hamilton told the crowd.

Alt-J soon move on to the States where there’s an equally impressive headline gig at Madison Square Garden in New York coming up.
