Slaves, Future Of The Left and Bo Ningen will lead the fifth leg of the FOCUS Wales event, which is due to take place in and around Wrexham’s town centre between April 22nd-25th 2015.

Also booked to appear are BBC DJ Huw Stephens, comedian Henning When, Coasts, Allusondrugs, The Membranes, Samoans, Sweet Baboo, Yr ods, //Nights//, Yucatan, Little Arrow, Golden Fable, Cowbois Rhos Botwnnog, Doppelgänger and Ray Peacock. Wristbands will cost £50.

Slaves have been slowly building momentum this year with a series of 100mph singles, and have just found some mainstream recognition for their exploits after being named on the longlist for the BBC’s Sound Of 2015 poll.

Back in March, the duo took us back to the origins of the band during a chat at the South By Southwest Festival. “I think this is the band that we deep down always wanted to be in,” Laurie Vincent told us. “I’ve always loved punk music. I’ve always loved the attitude. I’ve always been searching for someone else to be in that band. Once we finally started making music together, we both realized that this was the style that we’ve been looking for.”
