Kasabian have been announced as headliners at next year’s Open’er Festival in Poland, and will be joined by the more considered leanings of St Vincent, Alt-J and Radiohead‘s guitarist Jonny Greenwood.

Early Bird tickets are on sale now for the event – which is to be held July 1st-4th at Gdynia’s Babie Doly Military Airport – until January 15th, priced at £99.

Kasabian’s place on the bill is confirmed just after chief songwriter Serge Pizzorno laid out some more ambitious plans for the future, declaring a headline visit to Wembley as their logical ‘next step’.

“I suppose there’s some weird Britpop hangover ingrained in my soul that strives to make outsider music and take it to Wembley,” he told NME. “I was talking shit earlier – we are ready for Wembley. In fact, that’s the next step: Wembley and Murrayfield, and then beyond. It’s stadium time. It has to be.”
