Idlewild have slightly expanded their March 2015 tour and will now visit Ireland for dates in Belfast and Dublin.
Added to the original run of two nights at the ABC in Glasgow and shows at the Birmingham Institute, Manchester Ritz and London Roundhouse are gigs at the Belfast Limelight on March 20th and the Dublin Academy a day later.
Idlewild will be touring their new album ‘Everything Ever Written‘, released on February 9th next year after recording sessions with producer Rod Jones. It is set to be their first studio release since 2009 and is also their first with new members Luciano Rossi and Andrew Mitchell.
“The album was predominantly written on the Isle of Mull,” singer Roddy Woomble has said in a statement. “The record soundtracks a period of transition. Working without time constraints gave the whole thing a creative freedom. Idlewild is a new band to me now; I’m excited for the future.”
