The 1975 are still ploughing the touring trail behind last year’s breakthrough debut album, and were in New York earlier this week for a show at the Paramount Theater which was witnessed by Live4ever’s Garret Torres.

The 1975 are almost done with their extensive tour of North America, and were playing New York for the third time in a week. Down front, the audience at The Paramount had plenty of adoring female fans out in support of their idols, many no doubt still digesting the rumours that frontman Matt Healy is ‘secretly’ dating US superstar Taylor Swift (oh dear).
Released in September 2013, ‘The 1975‘ went straight in at number one on the UK Album Chart, led by the unusually successful radio and chart exploits of ‘Chocolate‘ – a single lavishly gobbled up by Radio 1’s gaggle of excitable DJs.
