No rest for the wicked; Chvrches are happy to be going home after two years on the road behind their debut album ‘The Bones Of What You Believe‘, but that doesn’t mean they’re planning to spend most of 2015 catching up with daytime television.

Instead, according to an update from the band on Facebook, they’ll be immediately turning attentions to a follow-up once the Christmas decorations have been put back in their boxes. “Over 365 shows in two years and we’re going home,” the post reads. “Work on album two starts in January.”

And it’s worth mentioning that Chvrches haven’t just been content with supporting their own album since its release in September 2013. No, their Goodbye Records label has also been giving a home to a host of upcoming bands, including Australian outfit Mansionair, whose EP ‘Hold Me Down‘ was released in the summer.

“It’s always amazing for us to discover new music, as music fans and songwriters, and now as we look for artists to release on Goodbye Records,” Lauren Mayberry said at the time.
