The Flaming Lips brought their unique re-imagination of The Beatles‘ 1967 landmark album ‘Sergeant Peppers’ Lonely Hearts Club Band‘ to Jimmy Kimmel Live in the US on Halloween evening.

Dressed as characters from Wizard Of Oz, as you do, Wayne Coyne and fwends were joined by singer Grace Potter for performances of ‘With a Little Help from My Friends‘ and ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds‘ which you can watch below.

On the official album version, which is being released under the title ‘With a Little Help From My Fwends‘, are the likes of Moby, Miley Cyrus, My Morning Jacket and MGMT.

The Flaming Lips have made a habit of putting their own slant on classic albums during the past few years; Pink Floyd‘s ‘Dark Side Of The Moon‘ (called, deep breath, ‘The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Doing The Dark Side of the Moon‘) and The Stone Roses‘ 1989 self-titled debut album have also been re-recorded in full since 2009.
