More gigs have been cancelled by Royal Blood as the band’s vocalist Mike Kerr‘s ‘severe tonsillitis’ has yet to be downgraded to a humble sore throat.
The duo have already rescheduled UK dates in Portsmouth, Oxford and Bristol, and will now be forced to find room at a different time for shows in Milan, Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon which had been due during the coming days.
“Customers are advised to retain their tickets and await further information with regard to rescheduled dates which will be planned and announced as quickly as possible,” a statement advises. “We wish to sincerely apologise to all ticket holders for the inconvenience and disappointment this has caused.”
All should be fine though for Royal Blood’s homecoming show at the Brighton Dome on December 20th which will fittingly round off what has been an incredible, chart-topping breakthrough year for the band.
