Do The Damage‘, the b-side to ‘In The Heat Of The Moment‘, has been revealed by Noel Gallagher just before the first single from his second solo album ‘Chasing Yesterday‘ is released on Monday (November 17th).

“‘Do The Damage’? It might be the 23rd best song I ever wrote,” Gallagher has said. “It was – for about a year – gonna be the opening track on the album until the 22nd best song I ever wrote appeared.”

‘Chasing Yesterday’ won’t be following up 2011’s UK number one debut ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds‘ until next March, despite a grand unveiling during a Q&A session at Facebook’s London headquarters last month.

The blame for the long wait has been apportioned to the ‘Chasing The Sun’ series of Oasis reissues which have been going on for the best part of this year, and which will continue with ‘Be Here Now‘ at some point before Gallagher’s solo LP is due.
