Drummer Nathan Followill has declared Kings Of Leon‘s seventh studio album as ‘coming soon’ after the band wrapped up another long, eventful world tour in Brazil.

“Sad to leave Brazil,” he wrote on Twitter. “Hell of a way to end this record cycle. So many amazing memories. Best fans in the world, record seven coming soon.”

Kings Of Leon’s long touring schedule behind their ‘Mechanical Bull‘ album has taken them all around the world, from stadiums and arenas in the UK and US to festivals in Japan and beyond.

It did though take an unexpected hit last August when an errant fan jumped in front of their tour bus on route to a gig in New York, forcing the driver into some sudden evasive action which resulted in Nathan breaking a few ribs.

Various North American tour dates were subsequently cancelled and the band appeared on The Tonight Show with house drummer Questlove filling in on the sticks.
