Klaxons played what is expected to be their last ever live UK show last night (November 4th), reports NME.

Although the fortunes of their recent album ‘Love Frequency‘ were hardly of the same heights scaled by their Mercury Prize winning debut ‘Myths Of The Near Future‘ in 2007, it was nevertheless still surprising when the band made an announcement on Twitter which read:

“After what’s been nearly 9 bananas years we’d like to let you know that we’ve decided the upcoming dates will be our last headline tour.”

The final gig then took place at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire and boasted a fittingly career-spanning set which closed with their cover of Grace‘s ‘It’s Not Over Yet‘. “London, there’s no place like home,” Jamie Reynolds told the audience. “Thank you all so much.”

Setlist:

‘Atlantis To Interzone’
‘Flashover’
‘There Is No Other Time’
‘Gravity’s Rainbow’
‘My Future Love Come With Me’
‘Twin Flames’
‘Show Me A Miracle’
‘Golden Skans’
‘Invisible Forces’
‘Two Receivers’
‘Magick’
‘Atom To Atom’
‘The Bouncer’
‘Four Horsemen Of 2012’
‘Children Of The Sun’
‘It’s Not Over Yet’
